When opening Outlook desktop on their Windows 10 workstations, some users received an error message:
We can’t connect you.
Looks like we can’t connect to one our our services right now. Please try again later, or contact your helpdesk if the issue persists.

Additionally, several events 1907 and 1908 appear in Event Viewer at
Applications and Services\Microsoft\Windows\AAD\Operational
Environment:
Microsoft Office 2016 and 2019 Desktop
Windows 10 1909 and 20H2
Local active directory domain (not Azure)
Internet domain/Email brokered by GoDaddy and hosted on M365
Users could access their accounts using a web browser, and other devices and operating systems did not have any problems.
Failures were unpredictable and did not affect all machines, but several machines began experiencing the problem within hours of each other, even though no updates (other than AV definition and engine updates) had been installed for at least a week.
Uninstalling antivirus and elevating machine-level user privileges had no effect.
Attempting to create a new Outlook user profile also failed. When attempting to connect an Outlook profile to their email accounts, users were not redirected to the GoDaddy login page, even though tests verified that the autodiscover connection had succeeded.
Uninstalling/re-installing Office 2016, which was the final solution offered by both GoDaddy and Microsoft, also did not work.
The problem was solved by configuring the following registry keys:
UPDATE: As of end of August 2020 this issue should have been addressed and Azure AD should be able to strip the space automatically from the end of Azure AD SAML Login URL string.
